Yellow Roses
16x20”
Oil on Canvas, framed.
2012/16
“My husband and I got married quietly and privately at Red River Camp in T15R9, Aroostook, Maine. My mother’s favorite flowers were yellow roses. My sisters went to a lot of work to make sure this beautiful bouquet found it’s way to us at this remote fish camp. I loved how they were resting in the vase on the rail, with the canoes at rest in the background.”
To frame or not to frame: I have taken the answer to that question out of your hands. This painting is framed .
I design and make my own frames. All are ash, which I painted white. This frame is 1.25” deep, and adds a little under 2” to the width and height. A sample of the frame is shown below.
The frames are not interchangeable. Please feel free to email or call me, and I will be happy to answer any questions.
