Place of the Sturgeons
30x60”
Oil on Canvas
2018/19
“I walk the Route 1 bridge in Belfast frequently. This is where The Passagassawakeag River meets Penobscot Bay. The Passy, for short, means literally “Place of the Sturgeons”.. I chose to leave the harbor void of mooring balls and anchored boats, to magnify the sense of space.”
To frame or not to frame: I have taken the answer to that question out of your hands.
This painting is ready to hang, without a frame. I have continued the image around the edges of the canvas.
The frames are not interchangeable. Please feel free to email or call me, and I will be happy to answer any questions.
