Quilt Square: Hydrangea
12x12”
Oil on Canvas, framed.
2011/13
“I design the quilts that I paint. And I thought it would be fun to fold back a corner, and reveal what inspired the colors in this rich quilt square: the garden behind.”
To frame or not to frame: I have taken the answer to that question out of your hands. This painting is framed .
I design and make my own frames. All are ash, which I painted white. This frame is 1.25” deep, and adds a little under 2” to the width and height. This painting is shown framed below.
The frames are not interchangeable. Please feel free to email or call me, and I will be happy to answer any questions.
